Calling all volunteers! DMRI projects that need volunteers are described following. Community Centre In order to be prepared and to understand all that’s involved in the building and operating of a community centre when this project is finalised with the City, we are seeking individuals with experience and expertise in this area. We are seeking 10-15 individuals to serve on a committee who will guide the DMRI and the community on the issues that need to be addressed to ensure a sound business plan for the construction and ongoing operation of this facility.

Don Valley Trails Plan The City is in the early stages of improving access to the Don Valley in Don Mills by linking the Wynford/Concord neighbourhood to Milne Hollow/Moccasin Trail Park with new bridges and improved trails. In 2008, construction will begin of this approximately $800,000 project to complete a bridge across the Don River and a trail from Wynford Heights Crescent to Lawrence Avenue East. Later work will include a second bridge across the Don to Moccasin Trail Park.
You can help to improve the cycling, hiking and walking trails in our neighbourhood and make a significant contribution to the DMRI long term initiative to have a pedestrian pathway completely around Don Mills. (See the plan here)
